UPCYCLED CARDBOARD ASSEMBLAGES

Capitalist society has already produced the necessary components to create art in it’s multitude of iterations. Cardboard often constitutes a large portion of the modern waste/recycling stream. Trees cut down in the name of fiber production afford a perfect medium to manipulate into layered mixed media works. These pieces are formed from salvaged cardboard and “canvas” rescued from extermination.

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.

UPCYCLED MIXED MEDIA ASSEMBLAGES

Many of the household products society uses each day possess untapped creative value. While these items possessed value in their original intent, their application can also be reimagined within a creative context. Upcycling everyday items into beautiful new iterations, taps into new inner creativity steeped in sustainability.

Reduce. Reuse. Reimagine. Recycle.
